Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the SubLab application. By using SubLab, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Last updated: September 6, 2026
SubLab is an application for independently tracking subscriptions, free trials, recurring payments, and reminders. SubLab is not a bank, payment provider, subscription provider, or official representative of the services that users add to the application.
1

Use of the Application

SubLab may only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, applicable law, and the rules of the Apple platform.

You may not:

  • use the application for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading activities;
  • infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights;
  • copy, modify, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit elements of SubLab without permission, except where expressly permitted by law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the application, its infrastructure, or related services;
  • interfere with the normal operation of SubLab or use the application in a way that may harm other users, the developer, or third parties.

The original software code, interface, design, text, and other elements of SubLab are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

2

In-App Purchases

SubLab may offer paid access to additional features, including one-year access and lifetime access.

Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple. Payments, purchase confirmation, refunds, and other transaction-related matters are governed by the applicable Apple terms and policies.

The current price is always displayed before purchase confirmation in the App Store and may vary depending on country, currency, taxes, and other factors.

Lifetime access means that the relevant purchase within SubLab has no predefined expiration date. It does not guarantee the indefinite existence of the application, the App Store, the operating system, or any third-party services.
3

SubLab Does Not Cancel or Manage Subscriptions

SubLab is solely a subscription tracker. The application allows users to manually store information about subscriptions, payments, free trials, and renewal dates.

SubLab does not create, renew, modify, suspend, or cancel actual subscriptions to third-party services.

Deleting a subscription from SubLab, changing a date, disabling a reminder, or deleting the application does not cancel your actual subscription with the relevant service provider.

To cancel or modify a subscription, users must contact the relevant service provider directly or use the subscription management tools provided by Apple where applicable.

Information displayed in SubLab may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. This includes, among other things, prices, payment dates, billing intervals, free trial expiration dates, renewal dates, and projected future payments.

Users are solely responsible for verifying the actual terms of their subscriptions with the relevant provider.

SubLab also does not guarantee delivery of every notification. Notification delivery may depend on iOS settings, user permissions, system restrictions, and other factors.

4

Currency Conversion and Calculations

SubLab may use third-party APIs and services to obtain exchange rates and convert amounts between different currencies.

Such exchange rates may be delayed, differ from bank or payment provider rates, or differ from the actual rate applied to a specific transaction.

Converted amounts, monthly spending estimates, yearly projections, and other calculations are approximate and are provided for informational purposes only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubLab is not responsible for inaccuracies in exchange rates or errors resulting from third-party data providers.

5

Third-Party Services

SubLab may use third-party services, platforms, APIs, libraries, and infrastructure for analytics, crash diagnostics, currency conversion, data storage or synchronization, delivery of individual features, and other technical purposes.

These services are independent from SubLab and may have their own terms of use and privacy policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the availability, actions, content, security, or privacy practices of third-party services.

6

Third-Party Trademarks and Logos

SubLab may display the names, logos, trademarks, and other identifiers of third-party services for subscription identification and visual presentation within the application.

All such trademarks, logos, and names belong to their respective owners.

Their use within SubLab does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, support, or other official relationship between SubLab and the relevant companies unless expressly stated otherwise.

7

Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, modify, add, or remove individual SubLab features at any time.

We may also temporarily suspend individual features or discontinue the application or any part of it entirely.

We do not guarantee permanent availability of all features on every device, every version of iOS, or in every country or region.

8

iCloud and Synchronization

Certain versions of SubLab may use Apple services, including iCloud or CloudKit, to synchronize data.

Synchronization depends on Apple infrastructure, internet connectivity, the user's Apple Account, iCloud settings, available storage, the iOS version, and other factors outside SubLab's control.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, immediate, or completely error-free synchronization between devices.

Apple services may be temporarily unavailable, modified, restricted, or discontinued in accordance with Apple's terms and policies.

Users are responsible for properly configuring their Apple Account and, where appropriate, maintaining backups of important data.

9

Privacy

Your use of SubLab is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what information may be processed by the application, how it is used, and how it is protected.

10

SubLab Intellectual Property

Except for third-party materials and identifiers, all rights to the software code, original design, structure, text, interface, and branding of SubLab belong to the developer or are used lawfully.

Use of the application does not transfer ownership rights in SubLab or any of its elements to the user.

11

Support

We aim to provide useful support to users, but we do not guarantee a specific response time, continuous availability of support, or the ability to resolve every issue.

12

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubLab is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the application will always operate continuously, without errors or delays, that all displayed data and calculations will be fully accurate, or that notifications will always be delivered on time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of SubLab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings arising from your use of SubLab or inability to use it.

In particular, we are not responsible for actual charges made by third-party services, missed subscription cancellations, changes in subscription prices, inaccurate exchange rates, undelivered system notifications, incorrect data entered by the user, or failures of third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer rights and other rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

13

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

The current version of the Terms will be published on this page together with the date of the latest update.

By continuing to use SubLab after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence provide otherwise.

Any disputes related to these Terms or the use of SubLab shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless applicable mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim before a court or other competent authority in another jurisdiction.
